Torbjørn Heggem features in impressive Norway win over Italy
Torbjørn Heggem played a key role at the back as Norway recorded a famous win over Italy in FIFA World Cup qualifying on Friday night.
The Baggies defender completed 71 minutes of his nation’s incredibly impressive 3-0 victory at the Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo.
Norway raced into a three-goal lead at the break courtesy of strikes from Alexander Sorloth, Antonio Nusa and Erling Haaland.
Despite enjoying large spells of possession, Italy failed to break Heggem’s team down in the second period.
The result leaves Norway top of Group I with nine points from their three matches played. They head to Estonia for their fourth fixture on Monday night.
Congratulations, Torbjørn!
