Wolves are said to be in for a Rangers star this summer – as Tottenham also eye a swoop.
The Molineux side have already been relegated to the Championship and Spurs could follow them out the Premier League if they remain in bottom three territory come the end of May. Both clubs have been linked with right-back James Tavernier, who is set to leave Rangers at the end of the season, after an impressive 11-year stint in Govan.
He’s won every major trophy available at Rangers and the current Light Blues captain will bring vast experience to his next club with no plans to retire at 34. TEAMtalk claim Tottenham are an option if they are to suffer relegation while Wolves are also believed to be keeping tabs on his situation.

Sources have confirmed that Tavernier has emerged as a target, in the event of relegation, with his experience and leadership viewed as valuable assets in a promotion push.
“Former Newcastle star Tavernier, who has scored 144 goals for Gers, is understood to be open to a return to England, with interest building from a number of clubs south of the border. Wolves are among those also monitoring his situation, with the Midlands side keen to add proven experience to their squad ahead of next season. However, relegation-threatened Tottenham are now showing interest in the full-back ahead of what could prove to be a difficult summer window.
