Bournemouth identify ‘ideal replacement’ for outgoing player – Entourage open for move, club aim to collect €20m
Slavia Prague’s El Hadji Malick Diouf has been identified as a target for AFC Bournemouth this summer, according to Africa Foot.
The 20-year-old left Norwegian side Tromsø IL for Slavia Prague in January 2024 and has enjoyed regular minutes this season. He played 41 games and mainly operated as a left wing-back and at times as a left-back.
El Hadji Malick Diouf’s rise at Slavia Prague helped him make debut for Senegal last year. He played for the full 90 minutes as a left-back in his national team’s 3-1 friendly win over England earlier this week.
His performance in Nottingham has seen Bournemouth take notice. The Cherries seem to be one of the several Premier League clubs to have sent their scouts to watch this fixture live in action.
Andoni Iraola’s side have become the latest to show interest in the fullback. Milos Kerkez has been the first choice left-back for Bournemouth and is expected to leave this summer.
Africa Foot state the English club view the Slavia Prague player as an ‘ideal replacement’ for Kerkez.
El Hadji Malick Diouf’s entourage believe this summer is the right time for him to leave. The report further adds Slavia Prague hope to earn €20m from his sale.
If Kerkez were to leave, Bournemouth have the right conditions to sign the Senegalese.
Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth in picture to sign same player – Club want €10m
Nottingham Forest and AFC Bournemouth are among the clubs looking at Real Valladolid’s Raúl Moro.
That’s at least what Thursday’s edition of Mundo Deportivo reports, and they share more on Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth.
The winger scored four goals and registered six assists from 35 games in the recently concluded season.
His ‘impeccable season’ hasn’t gone unnoticed as Nottingham Forest, Bournemouth, Real Betis, CA Osasuna and RCD Mallorca are all closely following Moro.
At this moment in time, the Spanish club haven’t received any offers for the 22-year-old.
Real Valladolid have been relegated from La Liga and despite this, the newspaper states they want €10m for the attacker. Mundo add it won’t be easy to change their stance about his asking price.
Online, Mundo Deportivo provide a few additional updates on the club’s stance on letting the player leave.
Brazil legend Ronaldo is Real Valladolid’s current owner and is the process of selling his shares.
Mundo state the new owners will have to decide whether to retain or sell the Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth target. If it’s the latter, the report explains Moro’s price will be €10m.
